Northwest Calgary residents can easily and quickly register their children for West Valley Softball teams, leagues and programs. Registration and administration for all programs is done through the Silver Springs Community Association.

Registration opens in December for the 2024 season.

Fall Ball Registration
The Fall League is a joint program offered to all softball associations within the Calgary Minor Softball Association umbrella.
2022 Dates
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (subject to change)
Location: Vista Heights 4-Plex (1616 – 27 Avenue NE)
Cost: $90.00 (online payment only)
Winter Skills Session Registration
Winter skills sessions are a great way for players to improve their game in the off-season.
The sessions are open to players from all communities, including those outside West Valley boundaries.
Skills Sessions
These sessions represent some of the best value in youth sports. They will be held Sundays on the turf at SLS Family Sports Centre in Cochrane from October 15 to December 17 2023. Players will have fun, while increasing skill and confidence through fitness, batting, defence and game strategy.
Registration will use 2024 softball age divisions:

U9 & U11 (2014, 2013): 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

U13 (2012, 2011): 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

U15 (2010, 2009): 9:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

U17 & U19 (2008-2005): 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Indoor Pitching Clinics
2023 West Valley Indoor Winter Pitching Clinic registration is now open.
Position specific skills sessions are a great way for players to improve one of the most important aspects of softball.

New to pitching: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Experienced pitchers: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Notes
Each session is limited to ten participants.
Pitchers must supply their own catchers at each session
